TICKETS FOR THE BUS
The travelling documents available are: General
Tickets, season tickets and regional cards.
Tickets must be retained during the bus ride until the destination
stop.
Tickets must be timestamped using the machine which is normally
found at the front and the rear of the bus, after getting on the
bus.
In cases where the validation machine is out of order, you must
try to use the other machines on the bus. The malfunction of the
validating machine must be reported to the driver.
The passengers must ensure that the validation
has been clearly completed and is acceptable.
General tickets, season tickets and any other travelling documents
must be shown upon request of the inspecting officer either on
the bus or at the destination stop.
Time tickets allow the use of the bus service for the amount of
time indicated on the ticket, which starts from the validation
time and can only be stamped once (when getting on the first bus).
The tickets are valid for one person only and can be validated
only once.
Passengers who are found travelling without a ticket, or with
a non-validated ticket, must pay a fine which is 50 times the
amount of the cost of the ticket, plus the cost of a ticket.
Lost and found items are delivered
to the Ufficio degli Oggetti Smarriti of the Florence Town Hall
together with a description of the a short description about the
item and where it was found.
The findings are announced in the Albo Pretorio of the Town Hall.
