La strada del vino di Montespertoli (The wine roads of Montespertoli)
Montespertoli is located about 30 km South-West from Florence.

Also the wine sorts of this area are part of the Chianti wine. The DOCGs are the Chianti di Montespertoli and the Chianti Colli, whereas the DOC wine is the Colli dell'Etruria Centrale.

Given its climate, soil and exposure to sun, the area of Montespertoli is ideal for wine-growing; in fact, 1,400 hectares of the approximately 1,600 devoted to wine-growing are DOCG. Annual production of grapes is 19,000 quintals and wine production is 140,110 hectolitres, of which 91,152 are DOCG.
