They provoke the expulsion of kidney stones and prevent their formation and are particularly indicated during preparation for operations urinary calculosis and for post-operative treatment. They are also an excellent remedy for infections of the urinary tract and, thanks to their action on the metabolism of uric acid, favour the cure of gout and uratic arthropathies.
