Just 3 km from the ancient village of Buonconvento in Siena's famous clay hills (the Crete Senesi), Salicotto farm is very well located for visits to places in Tuscany: it's 27 km from Siena and Tuscany's famous cities and art-centres are all within an hour's reach.
It is a small family-run and organically approved farm of 28 ha. The complex of buildings, consisting of the main house and the barn, dates from the early 19th century and was renovated in 2004 to match its original design. The main house is devided between the part we occupy and the part which contains 6 rooms for our guests who want to enjoy the experience of agritourism. Also available is a large open-space apartment above the barn. We like to provide our guests with a warm and informal environment in which they can feel like friends of the family.

Questo antico casale rurale, ristrutturato nel 2004, é all'interno di un'azienda agricola biologica a conduzione familiare con 6 camere matrimoniali e un appartamento per l'ospitalita turistica. Privacy, rapporto umano e contatto con la natura sono prioritari.

Our formula is "Bed & Brunch". A full breakfast is served from 8.00 to 11.00 in the large kitchen in our part of the house. We offer generous helping of brad, honey, marmalade and home-made cakes as well as local ham and cheese. The rooms and the apartment are comfortable and furnished in appropriate style.. All have a private bathroom, air-coditioning and their own independent entrance. Carefully-tended common areas and a pool set in the hillside will help to make your stay unforgettable.

La colazione, un vero brunch dai sapori genuini, é servita da Silvia nella propria cucina. Le camere e l'appartamento, ampi e accoglienti, offrono la vista sul grandioso spettacolo naturale delle Crete Senesi. I bagni sono spaziosi e confortevoli. Accurati spazi comuni e la piscina adagiata in mezzo alle colline renderanno il vostro soggiorno indimenticabile. Le camere sono tutte dislocate nella casa principale, l'appartamento invece é al piano alto del fienile, a pochi metri di distanza.
